What is my background?
I was trained as an architect in Russia and started working at the biggest civil engineering company in my home town. I was expected to marry and start breeding. But then, I met a person online who showed me I didn’t have to give up my dreams and mould myself into something I wasn’t, to please others. Half a year later, I was sailing a boat in the open Mediterranean. My destination was my own freedom.
My voyage helped me to see the planet and intensified my hunger for learning, arts and history.
My tools
-
WordPress
I have been playing with web design since 2010, when I was learning HTML and CSS languages. Today I build websites with content management systems, namely WordPress.

Color combinations
Most people don’t know that you can’t just throw colors together. Not only they may not make a good combination, they can ruin the impression of your website to such an extent that people will leave it. The bottom line is, colors matter. Take a look at the examples below and notice that in both cases the colors where chosen to compliment one another.

My inspiration
Nobody can exist in vacuum. Especially if you work in a creative filed. One needs to see others’ achievements. I have a few sources that provide me with ideas and inspiration.
My diploma
Feast your eyes on the original, Russian-made, booklet that certifies my degree, speciality and the year of graduation.
My team
Getting yourself a website involves more than design. You need to get yourself a domain name and host the site somewhere. Morgan assists me with that and any other Internet and computer related matters. She holds masters degrees in computer science and music.
